Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't been more active here. As Hala knows, my daughter's wedding is just 4 days after my return to Iran, so at the moment I'm overwhelmed with work, but I'm really really looking forward to meeting you all so much! I haven't been following things very thoroughly and have had no time whatsoever to do searches, learn about Japan, our trip, or prepare myself in any other way! Now I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach (well, I already had them, but that was for my daughter's wedding; now I have them for both)! I worry about my air ticket (never travelled that way before and I'm soooo afraid something is going to go wrong!), financial issues (don't know how much I should bring), dietary matters (I'm a practicing Muslim with food restrictions), and anything else you can think of!! :-) I even worry that there is something else I should be worrying about which has escaped my attention so far! ;-) I'm looking forward to the moment when I actually get there and see you guys and can believe that this dream has really and truly come true, come what may afterward! Thanks a lot for all the helpful tips, etc., not that I really had time to follow them, but it made me rest assured that I would be among a very thoughtful group of friends. Dear Susan, Don't worry. Everything will be ok. We all are the same and will take care about each other. I am bringing only $500, actually don't have more than that. I think that will be enough. If not, I am hopping to borrow from somebody if any. ;-) I am worrying about the dead hot weather. I am not adjust to, but Tom (our great supporter) said no worry at all. We will be mostly inside. The taxi to the Conference place is only $10 for 4 persons. I think we can afford that. You have to visit our WC3 Scholarship Committee and put your pic to your profile. Here is the link: http://wc3scholar.info/ , then, at the bottom of the page, click on the link 'Forum for Scholarship Awardees' and then - on the right sidebar read all the Recent Activities. It is important to be aware about all the news about our staying in Japan. So, count on everyone. Webheads are really ones to rely on. Looking forward to seeing you soon. P.S. I do understand how busy you are preparing to your daughter's wedding. It is very responsible and exciting. I wish you can do all these smoothly. Don't let all the things bother you.
