CV of Jinguo Mo

Personal background:
Jinguo Mo, born in Shanghai in 1950, is a professor of English and supervisor of MA candidates in the School of Foreign Languages and the director of Institute of Foreign Language Learning at Southeast University, Nanjing, China. From 1994 to 1995 he went to work in US as a visiting scholar. From 1996 to 1999 he was the Vice Dean of the Department of Foreign Languages at Southeast University. Since 1999 he has been an examiner of CET-SET(CET Spoken English Test – a nation-wide exam). His major research fields are Tertiary/College English Teaching and CALL. In November, 2006, he was appointed as the Executive member of PacCALL.

Here Institute of Foreign Language Learning refers to a tem of foreign language teachers in our school, whose researches are concerning the integration of educational technology with foreign language teaching and learning.

Lectures and training courses:
2) Since 1999, Mo has been invited by the Shanghai Foreign Language Press (which is one of the two key professional foreign language press houses in China) and more than 25 colleges and universities to give lectures on CALL for more than 8,000 college English teachers from all parts of China.
3) Since the beginning of 2007, Mo has been running the training course of educational technology based on IT for college English teachers for more 5 times.
